Following the regional resort parking schedule, the City of Virginia Beach will charge a modest fee to park in Virginia Aquarium parking lots from April 1 through October 31, 2022. Peer from atop the Chesapeake Light Tower aquarium to learn about sea turtles species - their diets, behaviors, and species survival plan - and the backstory of the turtles in our care.

Join us for an unforgettable ~2.5 hour adventure in search of whales, dolphins, seals,and seabirds. Staff & volunteers trained by Aquarium experts share a program built upon our own research and conservation efforts and three decades of experience. We adhere to all responsible wildlife viewing guidelines.
Guests should check-in 30 minutes prior to the boat departure time at the dock adjacent to the Main Building parking lot at 717 General Booth Blvd. Day-of tickets are available onsite if space allows.
Trips are subject to boating conditions,but will not be canceled due to precipitation. Cancelations are made as far in advance as possible, and you will be contacted with the opportunity to reschedule your reservation. Tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable unless the trip has been cancelled by the Virginia Aquarium.
Tips & What to Wear Please dress in layers, non-skid shoes, and appropriately for the elements. All children under 3 must be included in your reservation, per U.S. Coast Guard regulations.

Families that have members with any ability are invited to visit the Aquarium in a calm, comfortable, sensory-friendly environment. Explore at your own pace before we open the doors to the general public.
Don't forget your ID and plan to join us for a special evening scheduled just for adults (21+ only)! Whether you bring a friend or choose to come alone, you are invited to leisurely enjoy all of the animals and exhibits, free from daytime crowds and high-energy kiddos.
